Halva Puri
Potatoes
In a pot add:
- Cut 3 small/medium potatoes in small squares
- Add water
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 pinches numeric (1/4th tsp)
- 1/2 - 1 tsp red pepper/ chilli flakes
- 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
- 1/2 tsp kalonji
- 1/2 tsp rye
- A few curry leaves
Let boil until potato cooks
Add:
- Imlee (1/4th inch piece)
- Whole green chillies
Chana
Roast:
- Cumin
- Rye
- Curry leaves
- 1 tsp all purpose flour
Add water
Add Imlee chutney
Add red chilli powder to taste
Chana
Salt to taste
Halva
In a pot add:
- 1/2 tbsp butter
- 2 1/2 tbsp siwjee
- 3 tbsp sugar
- Food colouring
- 1/2 cup water
Puri
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- Water
- Salt
