Curry Kitchery
Mix in bowl:
Half container of yogurt (for more tangier taste do 50/50 yogurt/sour cream)
1 heap tbsp of chickpea flour
1/2 tsp of salt
1/2 tsp of salt
1/2 to 3/4th tbsp of coriander (sometimes I put more.. i taste it as I make it and adjust)
1/4th tsp of turmeric
In cooking pot:
Fry 1 medium onion
Add bagar:
- Rye seeds
- Curry leaves
- Dry round peppers
- Zeera
Cook for a bit until fragrant
Add yogurt mix.
Add water
Let boil
Add gurr (or brown sugar or any sugar.. who cares)
Let simmer & your done!
Optional: Make pakora and add it in. To make pakora:
Mix the below in a bowl and let sit for a bit before frying (30 mins or so):
1/4 tsp baking soda
2 cups besan
Red chilli powder
Haldi
Cumin seeds (whole & powder)
Coriander seeds (whole & powder)
Fresh coriander
Salt to taste
One or two onions
Fresh Green chill or even green bell peppers work
