Ground Beef Curry (Keema)
ingredients
- 2lb Ground beef
- 2 medium onions
- 5-6 tbsp oil
- 2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp haldi (turmeric)
- 1 tsp red chilli powder
- 1 tsp chili flakes
- 4-5 Tomatoes or 330ml tomato puree
- 2 1/2 tbsp garlic/ ginger
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp Garam Masala
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- 2 green chillies sliced lengthwise
Directions, in a pot add:
- 5-6 tbsp of oil
- 2 medium thinly sliced onions
Sweat the onions & add
- 2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp red chili flakes
- 2lb ground beef
- 330ml tomato puree or 4-5 tomatoes
- 2 tbsp of garlic & ginger paste
Cook for a little bit. Add splashes of water if needed
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp Garam Masala
- 1/4th cup fresh chopped coriander
- 2 green chilis (deseeded, sliced lengthwise - dded for fragrance)\
Serve with naan or roti.
