Veg Hakka noodles

Prep Sauce in a bowl:

  • 2 tsp soy sauce
  • 1.5 tbsp sriracha
  • 1.5 tbsp sambal oelek
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1/4th tsp sugar


Prep veg and set aside

  • 1/4th green cabbage thinly sliced
  • 1 carrot julienned 
  • 1/4 - 1/2 of a capsicum thinly sliced (any colour or mix)
  • 1/2 onion thinly sliced
  • 1 green onion (white ends thinly sliced, green end long cut)



Boil noodles (I used spaghettini) around 250gs (half of a 500g bag)

Once 90% cooked, strain

Rinse with cold water

Set aside

 

In a pan/wok, add:

  • 3 tbsp oil, once hot add:
  • 2 tsp garlic/ginger paste
  • All veg

Saute until fragrant, then add:

  • Noodles
  • Prepared sauce

Mix until everything is nicely coated with the sauce

Add:

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Turn off heat and add:

  • 1 tsp sesame oil
