Veg Hakka noodles
Prep Sauce in a bowl:
- 2 tsp soy sauce
- 1.5 tbsp sriracha
- 1.5 tbsp sambal oelek
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 1/4th tsp sugar
Prep veg and set aside
- 1/4th green cabbage thinly sliced
- 1 carrot julienned
- 1/4 - 1/2 of a capsicum thinly sliced (any colour or mix)
- 1/2 onion thinly sliced
- 1 green onion (white ends thinly sliced, green end long cut)
Boil noodles (I used spaghettini) around 250gs (half of a 500g bag)
Once 90% cooked, strain
Rinse with cold water
Set aside
In a pan/wok, add:
- 3 tbsp oil, once hot add:
- 2 tsp garlic/ginger paste
- All veg
Saute until fragrant, then add:
- Noodles
- Prepared sauce
Mix until everything is nicely coated with the sauce
Add:
- Salt and pepper to taste
Turn off heat and add:
- 1 tsp sesame oil
