T&T - Muhammara Dip
This has easily become one of my favourite dips! Not only is this delicious, its super easy to make and definitely a topic of conversation! Its unique ingredients blend well together it will leave your guests guessing what's in it?!

On a skillet add:
- 1/4 cup olive oil, divided
- 1 1/4 cup raw walnut halves
Toast walnuts until fragrant & lightly toasted
Remove from heat & set aside
Back in the skillet, add:
- 1/3 to 1/2 cup fresh breadcrumbs
Toast breadcrumbs and set aside with walnuts
In a blender or food processor, add:
- 1 cup roughly chopped fire-roasted red peppers (peeled, seeded)
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 3 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 teaspoons pomegranate molasses (OR a splash of lemon juice - its just as good with this option!)
- 1 teaspoon salt, plus more as needed
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne
- 1 teaspoon Allepo or other red pepper flakes (I usually don’t add this and add chilli flakes onto for garnish)
- Toasted walnuts & breadcrumbs
Blend everything together & taste for seasoning
Place in bowl & refrigerate
- Garnish with Italian parsley, chopped walnuts, and pepper flake
